- APRIL, 1968 - Courtesy Sports, now known as Courtesy Motors, opens for business on the South side of Stevens Point on Church Street. Current owner Pete Kopecko starts the business selling Honda motorcycles, Bombardier snowmobiles, parts and accessories.
- 1975 - Courtesy Sports becomes Courtesy Honda, as it adds automobiles to it's line-up. To accomodate the increased product line, Pete builds a new show-room on the Northeast side of town, which is the current location, 301 N. Green Avenue.
- 1977 - Courtesy Honda discontinues the Ski-Doo, Bombardier snowmobile franchise.
- 1981 - Courtesy Honda adds the Chrysler/Dodge/Plymouth franchise to the line-up. Along with the new franchises, Courtesy Honda continues to handle Honda auto and Motorcycle sales, parts and service.
- 1988 - Courtesy Honda discontinues the motorcycle division and takes on the name of Courtesy Motors.
- 1990 - Due to increased sales of automobiles, Pete purchases a separate building, known as Courtesy Used Car Center on the East side of Stevens Point.
- 1997 - Courtesy Motors adds the Nissan and Mazda franchises. The Nissan/Mazda line's are sold out of the Highway 10 East location.
- 2001 - Courtesy Motors expands yet again, moving Courtesy Used to a separate location, on an all new lot, located across the street from the Courtesy Honda/Dodge/Chrysler location.
- 2005 - Courtesy Motors builds a new showroom for the Nissan franchise, which takes the place of the old Used Car Center.
- Current - Courtesy Motors has two locations: Courtesy Honda/Mazda/Chrysler/Dodge, located at 301 N. Green Avenue in Stevens Point, and Courtesy Nissan, located directly across the street from the main headquarters.
